Holiday for a single Dad
Morning,

Looking to take my son away in August.

He is 6, can any of you furnish me with anywhere to go with my son. This is the first year that we will be going away just the 2 of us. Any recommendations welcome.

Re: Holiday for a single Dad
first choice holiday villages are good for that

all inclusive, kids everywhere, generally a water park attached

and loads of kids activities he can go off and do so you get a break too

Erm.......perhaps a holiday that you would both enjoy? Holidays are holidays aren't they? Does it matter how many people there are?

I'm suspecting that you haven't got kids.

Join gingerbread if you need good advice

As for the holiday , anywhere with a waterpark , suggest Spain as Egypt or the canaries could be a bit far flying time.

Take this how you want, but I would really think this through if I were you before you commit to it. It may sound like a nice idea but in reallity will you both get bored, will he get bored, will he miss his mum, what will you do after he falls asleep at 8pm and you can't go out? Maybe a few days would be ok.

Apart from the above, you probably can't go wrong with a Butlins..

Go somewhere all the slags go, they'll see you as an attentive Dad and want to play with your cock.

Thank me later

There's a couple who give great advice on holidays with kids, don't worry if you can't get a babysitter, they offer solutions around this

Good luck

Centre parcs?

A mate of mine took his daughter to the one in Sherwood forest. Loads of stuff to do together. If you fancy going out after kid goes to bed they offer a babysitting service too

Kids activities during the day when you don't want to do stuff together as well.

Center Parcs is a rip off during the school holidays. What about camping?

Centreparcs is great, even better in Holland where there is more to do and cheaper than the UK sites.

Centerparcs and eurodisney are a fucking rip off during school hols.

I took my daughter to croatia two years ago, took loads of books with me. We hired bikes, went out every day and had a great time.
